Summer School for Women in Mathematics and Statistics - 2025

Detailed instructions for applications:

  • The summer school is intended for women students studying in first year B.A/B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree and having Mathematics as one of the major subjects/courses, during the academic year 2024-2025. 
  • Students are required to arrange a letter of recommendation by the referee mentioned by them. The referee will receive an email with a link to upload the recommendation letter. Please ask your referee to share the recommendation before the deadline.
  • Application to this portal does not confirm participation in the program. The final shortlisting will be based on the decision of the committee. The shortlisted candidates will be notified through email/the list will be displayed on the webpage.

  • Support: All selected participants for on-campus participation will be provided sleeper class train fare from home station to ICTS and back (for non-Bengaluru participants), local boarding plus food, and can be eligible for a performance-based stipend for books. For selected participants who will have 3 or more nights of train travel, partial airfare travel support will be considered.

    We welcome women students from all regions of the country.
